Twickenham Stadium is seeking a dynamic Catering and Events Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of catering operations across conferences, banqueting, events, and match days. You will lead the planning and execution of high-quality food and beverage services, ensuring a seamless guest experience and maintaining the standards of the Twickenham Experience brand.

In this hands-on role, you will manage food service, bars, back-of-house operations, and storage areas, working closely with internal teams and clients to meet business needs and exceed expectations. You will monitor market trends, implement service innovations, and drive performance to maintain our position as a leader in stadium hospitality. This full-time position is based on a 40-hour week over 5 days, with flexibility required to support event schedules.

Duties:
  • Lead and inspire the events and catering team, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and engagement through effective communication, training, and team development practices.
  • Oversee recruitment, induction, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary procedures for casual and variable staff in line with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional operational standards across all events and catering areas, ensuring presentation, hygiene, and safety meet or exceed expectations.
  • Monitor and manage staffing levels, rotas, and planners to ensure optimal service delivery while meeting financial targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies, including Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Licensing, and Environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain tight control over costs, stock, cash handling, and supplier ordering processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budget targets.
  • Support senior operational managers with reporting, financial analysis, and implementation of corrective action plans for revenue and cost variances.
  • Drive a culture of excellence by leading by example, ensuring uniform standards, sharing best practices, and actively addressing performance or compliance issues.
