We are currently recruiting for an experienced Catering Manager to lead operations on a daily basis. This is a high-profile, fast-paced operation with the capability to cater for up to 500 customers, operating across both kitchen and full-service retail. The site is modern, extremely busy, and has recently benefited from a full refurbishment of the kitchen and dining facilities, making it a fantastic environment for an ambitious manager to thrive.
As Catering Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation, leading a well-established team of around 12 colleagues, including a Head Chef, Chefs, retail staff and servers. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding food and service while ensuring strong financial performance and full compliance with Compass and client standards. This is a hands-on management role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front in a demanding but rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of a high-volume catering and retail operation
- Leading, motivating and developing a strong, established team
- Delivering excellent customer service across both catering and retail
- Full responsibility for financial management, including budgets, forecasts and cost control
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, health & safety and company standards
