Overview

Role: HR Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge

Salary: Up to £40,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to deliver a people plan aligned to business goals.
  • Be a hands-on HR generalist, advising, coaching and challenging managers while driving a positive employee experience.
  • Lead people operations and employee relations, working with HR Shared Services.
  • Coach and support managers on policy, performance, engagement and employment law.
  • Analyse people data to drive insight, action and continuous improvement.
  • Lead inductions, training compliance and management development.
  • Champion employee engagement, recognition and EDI.
  • Support recruitment, absence and holiday management.

Person Specification

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong HR generalist with solid UK employment law knowledge.
  • Confident adviser with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Data-driven, solutions-focused and commercially aware.
  • Passionate about creating an outstanding employee experience.
