  • Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, BS8 1RL
  • M Shed, BS1 4RN
  • City Hall, BS1 5TR
  • The Create Centre, BS1 6XN

If you are passionate about coffee, enjoy delivering great customer service, and are happy to support back of house with basic Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Porter tasks when needed, we would love to hear from you. A positive attitude and flexibility are essential, as this role also supports events across our venues.

Responsibilities

  • Barista and café support
    • Prepare and serve consistently high quality drinks with care and attention
    • Deliver friendly and professional customer service
    • Keep work areas clean, stocked, and welcoming
    • Take payments and process orders accurately
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
    • Support basic food preparation and back of house tasks when required
    • Represent the brand with pride and professionalism
  • Events assistant support
    • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including furniture, equipment, and service areas
    • Support food and beverage service during events, including conferences, weddings, and public functions
    • Provide excellent customer service to event guests and clients
    • Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
    • Respond positively to changing event needs and guest requests
    • Follow all health, safety, and venue procedures during events

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in creating great experiences for both café customers and event guests.

Shifts

Shifts will vary between Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends. This is a casual zero-hours role, so hours will vary depending on the needs of the business, on a weekly basis.
