We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Chef Manager to work with us at an amazing workplace site in Bristol.

Location: BS10 7SD

Rate of pay: £38,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, 08:00am-4pm, predominately Monday-Friday, but will be managing a team over a 7-day operation. Occasional weekend shifts may be required; flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus.
  • To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations.
  • To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers.
  • You will be responsible for a small team of 11.
  • Responsible for HSEFS including records and training of on-site team.
  • Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standards.
  • Daily system bookwork and stock take recording.
  • Provide feedback and coaching on performance.
  • To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up-to-date COSHH and Food Hygiene training.
  • Managing daily kitchen operations, leading a culinary team, and ensuring high standards for food quality and safety.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Chef Manager role in Contract Catering is highly desirable.
  • Someone who is commercially savvy.
  • Be a strong leader to manage the team.
  • Excellent client relationship management.
