The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operation at Martletts. While the current schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, the role operates on a 5 out of 7 rota. - Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Manage stock, ordering, and budgets effectively
- Develop and adapt menus to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain excellent standards of food presentation and portion control
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef, ideally within care, senior living, or hospitality
- Strong understanding and experience with texture-modified diets (Level 4 purée essential)
- A hands-on leader with excellent team management skills
- Strong organisational and communication abilities
- Experience managing both retail/café and dining service operations is desirable
- Flexible and adaptable to a 5/7 working pattern
- Passionate about delivering high-quality food in a caring environment
We ensure you’re rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:
