£26,227 per annum

Working Pattern

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 6:30am - 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals.
  • Running your own section of the kitchen during service.
  • Ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Managing stock, reducing waste, and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.
  • Working as part of a fast-paced, friendly kitchen team.
  • Helping to train and support junior kitchen staff.
  • Contributing ideas for menus and seasonal dishes
  • Serving approximately 600 covers per day, including breakfast, lunch, deli, salads, home bakery, functions & hospitality

Our ideal candidate will be

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Passion for fresh food and delivering exceptional quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A positive attitude and team-player mentality.
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
