Role Overview
Trusted partner to the General Manager and Heads of Department across the entire warehouse operation, building relationships with client‑side teams and internal stakeholders, driving collaboration, enhancing service delivery, improving cost efficiency, and supporting the contract during its mobilisation phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with onsite operations to support decision‑making, manage financial risks and opportunities, and deliver budgeted sales, PBIT and margin.
- Provide proactive financial analysis, summarised findings and recommendations, using dashboards from E15 Insights covering sales, costs and KPIs.
- Own the operation’s financial controls and processes – weekly flash, budgeting, review of commercial initiatives, CAPEX appraisals, and optimisation of working capital.
- Deliver analysis of key business reporting: dashboards, month‑end reports, business reviews, client reports, budgets, flash forecasts and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Populate monthly balance sheet, escalating key risks and opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting with the Venue GM, ensuring a coordinated and signed‑off process.
- Train finance and operational teams in reporting and KPIs to improve performance.
- Monitor initiative delivery plans, challenge operational teams, and highlight risks to senior stakeholders.
- Utilise E15 insights dashboards, champion their use, and monitor labour %, pricing, and inflation impacts.
Requirements
- Experience partnering with non‑finance professionals.
- Qualified accountant or finalist in CIMA/ACCA/ACA and minimum two years in a financial role.
- Management accounting experience – accounting adjustments, reports/analysis supporting commercial decisions.
- Analytical with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel macros & VBA.
- Experience with SAP and E15/Power BI for analysis and reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen.
