Job Summary

We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Area Manager to ensure the smooth running of the operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As an Area Manager, your purpose is to develop and lead a team of managers within a geographical region, provide exceptional service to our clients, manage the employee life cycle, manage client and contractual relationships, drive foodservice solutions that exceed customers' requirements while delivering key financial targets and contract specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of continuous improvement plans
  • Adherence to all client and company policies
  • Ensure delivery and management of labour strategy in line with contract specifications
  • Delivery of all HSE requirements both contractually and legislatively
  • Monitor and deliver contractual and internal KPIs, identify and help develop continuous improvements
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Achievement of financial budgets
  • Training and development of all employees
  • Maintain and monitor food standards to ensure adherence to brand standards & company policy
  • Assist in developing strategies for growth and retention
  • Ensure implementation of any governance and communication strategies

  • Ability to work flexibly & remotely
  • Management experience leading and inspiring operational teams within brand guidelines to deliver results
  • Successful implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience at management level (contract / regional management) or ability to demonstrate desired acumen
  • Demonstrable financial acumen for managing a P&L
  • Excellent management skills
  • Proven track record of delivering client/customer satisfaction through their teams
  • Driving license and current driver

Desirable

  • Experience managing catering services, including contract catering delivery
  • Experience in highly commercial and price-sensitive markets
  • Formal catering qualification
