We are currently recruiting for an
Area Development & Support Chef to work with us covering a mix of sites in the North based around
Yorkshire/Manchester.
Salary
£35,000 per annum + amazing benefits
Working pattern
40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm however some ad hoc support over weekends may be required
Location
Yorkshire/Manchester
Must have full clean driving license along with their own car. Mileage covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide relief chef cover across sites within the Northern region, including covering Chef Manager and Head Chef absences.
- Support and develop site teams, coaching colleagues and sharing best practices.
- Help sites enhance and develop their food offer in line with Gather & Gather brand standards.
- Invent and create menus that meet client and customer needs.
- Produce food in a timely manner to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and is "picture perfect" every time.
- Assist in developing and introducing new food concepts and service styles.
- Communicate menu requirements and order ingredients as required.
- Support operational teams during mobilisations, staff shortages, and busy periods.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards across all sites.
