Sous Chef - Solihull

• Services: Breakfast, Lunch and Time2Eat Food Delivery

• Ensuring a smooth operation of the Time2Eat food deliveries around the site

• There is no counter service. This role is all cooking, packaging and delivering food to a high standard across 28 locker banks

• There is a requirement to use a digital tablet for this service – good computer knowledge is key!

• Management of a team of 10 people inclusive of 2 CDP’s and 8 catering assistants

• 12,000 customers on site

• Covering head chef duties whilst away

• Working along side the head chef to assist in devising, ordering and collating weekly menus

• Responsibility alongside the head chef of every day HSE standards

• Maintain the centre of excellence in food and customer service.

• Working alongside the head chef in managing all areas of the kitchen and the Team to ensure standards and service levels do not drop

• Strong culinary skills

• Good understanding of a busy kitchen

• Able to work as a team member and lead the team when required

• Previous experience working in a high volume, high quality environment

• Previous experience working in a B&I contract preferred

• Experience in working to an achievable GP

• Stock and Waste control experience

• Understanding of food management systems HACCP, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Natasha’s Law, Allergens and Manual Handling.
