We are looking for an experienced Portering & Helpdesk Manager to lead and develop a large, frontline healthcare team at London North West Hospital. This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for the smooth delivery of portering services and the management of the hospital helpdesk, ensuring a safe, efficient and patient-focused environment. You’ll lead a team driving service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate and develop a large portering workforce
  • Oversee day‑to‑day portering operations and manage the hospital helpdesk, ensuring timely response to service requests
  • Maintain high standards of patient care, safety and service delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and healthcare regulations
  • Manage budgets and take ownership of financial performance
  • Build strong relationships with clinical teams, stakeholders and senior leaders
