Compliance & Assets Manager – 12 Month FTC
Location: Defence Academy, Swindon | Full-time | 12 Month FTC
We\’re looking for a proactive and organised Compliance & Assets Manager to take ownership of company and client assets, ensuring all works, audits, and compliance activities meet contractual, HSE, and legislative standards.
In this hands-on management role, you\’ll balance operational oversight with compliance assurance, reporting, and team coordination – acting as the vital link between our operations team, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery, clear communication, and a strong culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all compliance and asset management activities across the contract.
- Oversee planned, unplanned, and remedial works to meet HSE and contractual requirements.
- Manage contractor documentation, inductions, and access.
- Maintain compliance records, asset registers, and project reports.
- Deliver audit programmes and report findings to clients and the Director of Operations.
- Support projects, PPMs, and remedial works to ensure deadlines and service levels are achieved.
- Manage company vehicles, documentation, and related IT/asset support.
About You
- Proven experience in compliance, asset, or facilities management.
- Skilled in contractor coordination, audits, and reporting.
- Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of asset management systems and PPM scheduling.
- Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
Desirable
- IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to achieve).
- Experience in PFI or MOD environments.
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
