We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the mobilisation and launch of two new workplace catering operations, including the opening of a new flagship EMEA HQ. This role is suited to an established catering operator who is confident working with clients, understands how to mobilise new services, and can bring structure, pace, and reassurance during periods of change. It is a handsâon leadership role, supporting mobilisation activity while maintaining strong operational standards and client confidence.
Responsibilities
- Support the mobilisation and launch of catering services within a new, highâprofile workplace environment
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and clients to ensure a smooth, wellâmanaged transition into live service
- Support recruitment, training, onboarding, and earlyâlife operational stabilisation
- Ensure operational readiness across people, food offer, systems, suppliers, and service standards
- Maintain a strong onâsite presence during mobilisation and early operational phases
- Support the embedding of standards, processes, and ways of working as services move into BAU
- Act as a trusted operational point of contact for both internal teams and the client
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or senior operational leader within contract catering
- Demonstrable experience supporting or leading mobilisations, new openings, or service transitions
- Strong clientâfacing skills, with confidence operating in highâexpectation environments
- A practical, calm, and solutionsâfocused leadership style
- Strong people leadership skills, including recruitment, training, and team engagement
- Commercial and operational awareness, with the ability to balance pace, quality, and cost
- Comfortable working in live environments where standards and service continuity matter
