About the role

We're looking for a collaborative Sous Chef to join the dynamic team at Charlton Athletic Football Club, a venue known for its heritage and community spirit.

As Sous Chef you will play a key role in leading a motivated culinary team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests, working closely with the Hospitality Head Chef and deputising in their absence to create best in class culinary experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all departments within the catering team to deliver excellent food.
  • Oversee preparation, cooking, and service arrangements, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the stadium kitchens day to day.
  • Take reasonable care across all aspects of health and safety, maintaining high levels of food safety throughout the working environment.
  • Create and maintain a pleasant working environment through integrity, positivity, and teamwork.
  • Support in managing variable labour in line with budgeted guidelines, working closely with the Head Chef and management to minimise unnecessary costs.
  • Ensure menus are costed and in line with budget, and complete weekly stocktakes and invoice recording in line with company policy.
