We\’re currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Universities on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Retail Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
- Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feels welcomed and supported.
- Being a responsible key holder.
- Using the till, taking orders, and receiving payments.
- Assisting with weekly bookwork and other necessary duties.
- Producing weekly rotas following the manager\’s guidelines.
- Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
- Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team is proactive at all times.
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications and skills required include:
- Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
- Good communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
