The Preparation Operator (Night Shift) supports daily production by preparing ingredients and components ready for the day shift.
Working nights, you'll ensure the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene while helping the team achieve daily production targets.
Working Hours 40 hours per week 4 on, 4 off shift pattern: 22:00 - 06:30 Flexibility and occasional overtime required to meet operational demands. £1 per hour night shift uplift.
Prepare ingredients in line with daily production plans and recipes.
De-box, weigh, and mix ingredients while maintaining allergen controls.
Carry out routine quality and process checks.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Support early morning dispatch activities when required.
Maintain high standards of hygiene by completing cleaning schedules and using the correct chemicals.
Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements.
Report quality, safety, or production issues promptly to the Night Shift Team Leader.
Support waste reduction initiatives and continuous improvement.
Work flexibly across the production operation as required.
