An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and people-focused Staffing and Recruitment Coordinator to join the Events team at Rocket Food. This role is central to the successful delivery of events, supporting the recruitment and scheduling. Working closely with the Events, Operations and People & Culture teams, you will help ensure staffing operations are efficient, accurate and compliant across a busy and varied events calendar. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and a genuine interest in people development. Flexible working options and reasonable adjustments can be discussed throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment planning and delivery in line with the annual events cycle
- Coordinate regular onboarding sessions and admin around recruitment
- Act as a first point of contact for front‑of‑house staff, providing guidance and support
- Manage staff bookings, event delivery and operations, including staffing check‑in and security sign‑in at on‑site events
- Screen CVs and application forms
- Manage the recruitment inbox, handle administration/paperwork and incoming queries
- Ensure compliance of right‑to‑work and other onboarding documents (training provided)
- Assist with the recruitment and management of temporary staff for events
- Source the right people, conduct one‑to‑one phone screening and interview candidates with the required skills for our teams and shifts
