The Role - Guest Service Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests, delegates, and visitors.
- Assist guests with enquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service in line with Yarnfield Park standards.
- Assist with the setup, service, and clear-down of conference rooms, restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and hygienic manner.
- Support buffet, banqueting, and refreshment services for conferences and events.
- Ensure service areas are clean, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard.
- Set up rooms according to event requirements (layouts, equipment, refreshments).
- Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Respond to last-minute changes or guest requests efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow company procedures at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Be flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
- Support other areas of the business when needed.
Essential
