We're currently recruiting a dedicated Nurse to help ensure the smooth running of operations at Compass Group UK&I on a part‑time basis (36 hours per week). As a Nurse, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work and have the chance to progress your career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and treating patients attending with minor injury and minor illness presentations
- Delivering high quality, person‑centred care using up‑to‑date evidence‑based knowledge
- Undertaking nursing treatments and procedures for patients – e.g. wound care, suture removal, ECGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy
- Participating in health screening duties and health promotion
- Assessing and re‑evaluating clinical situations and acting accordingly
- Monitoring and improving standards of care through evidence‑based practice, clinical audit, research and education
Qualifications
- Have a current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration
- Have a state‑approved or recognised Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing
- Have appropriate post‑registration experience in a Primary Care environment (however training can be given to the right candidate)
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be IT‑literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Be an effective team member
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be able to organise and prioritise workload
- Be able to demonstrate continuing professional development
