Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational delivery of events across Southbank Centre's spaces.
- Supervise and support front‑of‑house teams during events.
- Manage event set‑ups and ensure venues are prepared to the required standard.
- Act as the main operational point of contact during events.
- Allocate duties and provide guidance to event staff.
- Monitor service standards and ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure all health, safety and venue procedures are followed.
- Work closely with event planners, catering teams and venue stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience in hospitality, events or venue operations.
- Is confident leading and motivating teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Can remain calm under pressure and make decisions effectively.
- Is flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and successful events.
