Company of Cooks is a 25‑year‑old provider of café, restaurant, bar, and event services across the UK. We value Craft, Creativity and Community and are currently seeking an Event Operations Coordinator for our Southbank Centre location in London.
Location: Southbank Centre, London, SE1 8XX
Rate of pay: £35,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days
This role combines event operations support with administrative coordination. Working closely with the Senior Events Advisor, you will gain hands‑on experience across the full event delivery process while keeping operations organized and running smoothly. The role is designed as a development opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of events.
- Assist with event administration, scheduling and documentation.
- Shadow the Senior Events Advisor to gain operational experience.
- Help manage event logistics, supplier coordination and event records.
- Support communication with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with operational duties on event days (setting up meeting rooms, preparing refreshments, moving equipment and trolleys, supporting daily operations).
- Maintain accurate event records, reports and administrative systems.

- Hospitality or catering experience is essential.
