Rocket Food is London's leading luxury caterer and specialist in remarkable events, weddings and private parties. We require experienced senior waiting staff and event bartenders to join our front‑of‑house team.

Responsibilities

  • Guide food or drinks service teams for the areas assigned to you during events.
  • Collaborate with floor managers to orchestrate a smooth set‑up and maintain a good flow of service.
  • Manage the kitchen pass during canape receptions.
  • Lead teams for dinners and high‑end wine service at bespoke dinners.
  • Provide senior bar service on the champagne or cocktail bar for client events, predominantly in London and occasionally across the UK and abroad.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and act as an ambassador for Rocket.

Qualifications

  • 2‑3+ years hospitality experience within luxury restaurants, venues or events (UK or abroad).
  • Excellent teamwork, hands‑on and organised approach.
  • Health & Safety & Food Hygiene certified.
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of great food and wine.
  • Strong attention to detail and a flexible, enthusiastic can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to adapt across different service areas.

Pay and Development

Pay rates align with the London Living Wage: Junior staff £13.85 (£15.5) per hour, seniors £14.79 (£16.5) per hour, Head Waiters and Cocktail Bartenders £16.32 (£18.3) per hour. Rates include holiday pay accrued at 12.07%. We provide training to complement existing skills and offer development opportunities.
