Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service.
You will confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Defence on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year with a shift pattern of 5 out of 7 days.
Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
- Supervise our culinary and catering teams to continuously deliver impeccable food and customer service.
- Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
- Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
- Support and train teams, leading from the front to enable everyone to excel in their role.
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of two years of catering experience.
- Experience managing teams in a similar role.
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ambitious and motivated to upskill.
