We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Barista to join our busy, successful catering Bristol Central Venues team.
This role will be based at the Bristol Central Library.
As a member of the front‑of‑house team, you will help deliver exceptional customer service to our visitors.
The position is self‑contained, so you’ll work independently during all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and other beverages.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming service to all café visitors.
- Operate the till and handle cash.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Support stock control processes.
- Take initiative and make decisions that benefit visitors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or Café Waiter.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and greeting customers with a smile.
- Excellent team‑player with strong communication skills.
- Desire to succeed in the role and love of coffee culture.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- Exceptional time‑keeping and reliability.
