As our Catering & Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily preparation, reheating, packing, and distribution of approximately 650 meals for 5 schools across Dublin. You will be an integral part of a passionate and friendly team, working in a fast-paced kitchen environment to ensure meals are prepared safely, packed correctly, and delivered to the highest standards. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with opportunities to progress your career with us.

Key Responsibilities:- Reheating, portioning, and packing meals in line with production schedules for school delivery
- Supporting basic food preparation as required
- Assisting with packing and labelling meals for multiple school sites
- Ensuring correct storage of food items and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all kitchen and storage areas
- Carrying out general kitchen porter duties, including waste disposal and cleaning schedules
- Assisting, when required, with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support smooth daily operations
- Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen control procedures in line with training provided
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of kitchen-related tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A basic to good level of English
- Previous experience in catering, food production, or kitchen work is an advantage, but not essential
