We're looking for a Hospitality Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for Compass Group Ireland on a part time basis, contracted to 18 hours per week, Friday and Saturday nights. This role is based in Mallow (New Twopot House); therefore, own transport is essential. You'll join a team that takes real pride in what they do - pride in our food, pride in our brand but most of all pride in our people.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-quality hospitality service to designated meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areas
- Set up rooms for meetings and events, including food, beverages, tableware, and equipment in line with service standards
- Provide timely delivery and replenishment of food and drinks during meetings and events
- Ensure presentation standards are consistently met, with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Clear and clean meeting rooms promptly after use, ensuring spaces are reset and ready for future bookings
- Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all times
- Engage professionally with clients, responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
- Support with stock control, replenishment, and reporting of shortages or issues
- Work collaboratively with catering, kitchen, and on-site teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Adhere to service schedules and respond flexibly to changing client requirements
Our ideal Hospitality Assistant will:
- Have previous experience in hospitality, catering, or customer service (contract catering experience desirable)
- Be friendly, professional, and client-focused with a strong service mindset
- Be reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to follow procedures and maintain food safety and hygiene standards
