The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

In return, Compass will offer you training, guidance, a dedicated Panel and Assessment Manager. Compass has an administration team who will collate all reference and checks so you can concentrate on the assessment.

You will have a relevant professional qualification in social work, together with valid SWE registration. You will also have experience of undertaking assessments of potential foster carers. A good knowledge of the fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding issues is essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be flexible and have the capability to use your initiative and work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met and to enable the smooth running of the service.

  • Good knowledge of the fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Social Work: 2 years
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Social Work England (SWE) registration (required)
