We're looking for a Schools Advisor to join our Expansion team in Melbourne.
About the Role
This role is focused on growing revenue from our existing customer base.
You'll work with schools already on the Compass platform to increase the value they get from us, through module purchases, subscription growth and price management.
It's a great fit for someone early in their sales career who's motivated by targets, energised by building relationships and excited to work with a product that genuinely makes a difference in schools.
What you'll do
- Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify new business opportunities from incoming leads and targeted outbound activity.
- Conduct onsite and online module demonstrations for existing customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new module sales and upsell conversations.
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets for module sales.
- Raise awareness of new modules and features through direct school contact, encouraging positive word of mouth.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Marketing to enhance existing school subscriptions and build customer satisfaction.
- Represent the voice of the customer to provide input into new product and feature development.
- Support and attend local and national marketing events and conferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts across your school portfolio.
- Pipeline & Operations
- Manage your pipeline, calls, meetings and tasks in Zoho.
- Keep up to date on the Compass product and participate in regular training and information sessions.
About You
This role suits someone who's commercially minded, relationship-focused and motivated by growth.
You enjoy getting in front of customers and take pride in finding the right solution for them.
You will bring
- 1–2 years' experience in a sales, account management or customer-facing role.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a performance-driven environment.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and present compellingly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a pipeline effectively.
- A genuine curiosity about the product and the schools you're working with.
- Highly regarded
- Experience using a CRM tool (Hub Spot or similar).
- Prior experience in Ed Tech, Saa S or a high-growth scale-up environment.
