The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

To provide support in the home environment, and in the community to a lady in her 60s who’s blind. This position is extremely flexible and will be suited to those who want to make a positive impact on someone’s life. This role is a lone working position.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist with gardening
  • To read the mail, and occasionally newspapers
  • To read cooking instructions
  • To assist with guiding when in the community and when taking daily walks (weather permitting)
  • To assist with food shopping
  • To attend coffee shops, and walking along the sea front
  • To support with attending the doctor’s / hospital appointments
  • To support with collecting medication from the pharmacy

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Driving Licence essential and use of own vehicle required with business insurance
  • Note that this role may be subject to a DBS check
  • Employer may ask for references
  • You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK
  • No sponsorships are available
