Client Relationship Management
Lead digital strategy & proactive sales: Proactively identify client goals and digital marketing opportunities, crafting initial strategic frameworks and long‑term digital marketing plans (annual and periodic). This includes proactively presenting new digital service offerings—such as SEO, PPC, social media management, email marketing, and content marketing—that align with client objectives and budget.

Strategic guidance and advocacy: Provide objective direction to internal digital marketing and creative teams, while acting as a dedicated client advocate within the agency and representing the agency’s value to the client.
Expectation management & scope control: Effectively manage client expectations around campaign timelines and deliverables, monitor scope creep, and secure necessary approvals for out‑of‑scope work, often presenting these as value‑add opportunities.
Selling & presenting digital recommendations: Articulate and “sell” marketing recommendations back to clients, clearly outlining the value, expected outcomes, and ROI for new or expanded services (e.g., adding paid social to an existing SEO program).
Proactive engagement for growth: Consistently check in with active clients to ensure ongoing value from campaigns, re‑engage dormant clients with new opportunities, and actively seek and convert opportunities to expand services and close new projects within the existing client base.
Digital Campaign & Performance Management
Campaign intake & oversight: Facilitate the intake process for new digital marketing campaigns and regularly review campaign statuses, budgets, and performance.
Collaboration & coordination: Work closely with other marketing specialists and project managers to ensure campaign milestones are met, priorities are clear, and initiatives stay on track.
Digital performance measurement & reporting: Oversee the measurement and reporting of digital campaign results across all channels (Google Analytics, social media analytics, ad platform reports, email metrics), providing insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to clients. Clearly articulate the digital marketing value delivered—including traffic growth, lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI—to support ongoing engagement.
Client satisfaction & feedback for retention: Actively monitor client satisfaction with digital marketing performance, solicit honest feedback throughout campaigns, and handle any questions or disputes. Address concerns about digital results promptly to mitigate churn risk.
Campaign optimization & sign‑off: Ensure continuous optimization of digital campaigns based on performance data and secure client sign‑off on completed initiatives.
Business Growth & Internal Operations
Revenue growth & client retention: Directly contribute to agency revenue goals through high client retention rates and by identifying opportunities for growing marketing revenue with existing clients, actively closing new projects, and expanding service agreements to include additional channels.
References & testimonials: Secure client references and solicit testimonials showcasing successful marketing partnerships and measurable results, which aids in both new client acquisition and bolstering existing client confidence.
Marketing intelligence: Stay informed of clients’ industry segments, relevant digital marketing trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging digital tactics, sharing valuable insights with clients.
Thought leadership: Contribute to the firm’s digital marketing thought leadership through blogging, social media, and representing the firm at industry functions, enhancing agency credibility.
Internal documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive internal agency orientation files and data systems for each client’s digital marketing programs.
Outcomes You’ll Deliver
For Clients: Enhanced clarity, confidence, and care throughout their digital marketing journey, a smooth process, and tangible business results/growth driven by effective digital strategies
