Compass Community is hosting a Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Recruitment Event on 2nd July 2026, and we're looking to meet dedicated, enthusiastic and caring individuals who want to make a real difference in education. Whether you already work within a school environment or have transferable skills from another role, we'd love to meet you.

  • Have experience as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Learning Support Assistant or within Education
  • Have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs

  • Can build positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Are resilient, adaptable and committed to making a difference
  • Transferable skills from youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring or other child-focused environments are welcomed
