A brand new 90‑place independent day school for pupils aged 7‑19, where children come from a wide range of backgrounds and have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many have additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. As a trauma‑and‑attachment‑informed organisation, all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and ongoing support. The approach places the child at the centre of decision‑making, ensuring that education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, local authority teams and students work together to secure outstanding outcomes.

The Role: We are looking for a Primary Teacher capable of teaching Maths and/or English to GCSE level. Your key duties will be to know each child, build professional, nurturing relationships and motivate students. You will plan exciting and engaging learning opportunities that challenge and push learners, whether they are working on the very basics or have a special talent or passion for the subject. Our children require skilled teachers able to manage complex and challenging behaviours, using a consistent, flexible, non‑judgemental approach that gives them the attention and support they need. We want teachers involved in decision‑making that drives our school, helps deliver the curriculum, and contributes to the extra‑curricular offer. Your input will shape both the academic programme and the opportunities we provide.

Qualifications and Experience: Required qualifications to support teaching at GCSE level in Maths and/or English. Prior teaching experience with children aged 7‑19 and a strong commitment to high aspirations for all learners.
