The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 ÂŁ per year.
We are looking for someone who is 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations). The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with others. A valid manual driving licence is required, along with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Previous experience is not essential for this role. Our Skills to Care induction includes 2 separate weeks of classroom-based training and a week of shadow shifts to prepare for the new role.
What will I do as a Residential Support Worker?
- You will help facilitate children’s activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their lives.
- You will ensure their health and wellbeing, safeguarding them at all times.
- You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
- You will support the wider team with a range of domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
- You will create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
