At Compass Children's Homes, we are looking for a Residential Development Manager to lead the setup and launch of new children's homes across the country. This role is pivotal in our growth strategy, ensuring homes open on time, meet regulatory standards, and are led by high-quality teams.
What You'll Do:
- Work with the Development Team to identify new homes for growth.
- Oversee all aspects of home design, registration, and fit-out, ensuring key project milestones are met.
- Lead the Ofsted registration process, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage the home pre and post-opening, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care.
- Recruit, train, and induct permanent Registered Managers and staff teams.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to new teams, embedding best practices.
- Ensure the home maintains the highest standards of care, in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose and Compass policies.
- Contribute to policy and strategy development, shaping the future of Compass Children’s Homes.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Level 5 qualification in Residential Leadership.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home, with evidence of Minimum Good Ofsted reports.
Desired:
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Services.
- Previous experience in setting up and opening new children’s homes.
