About the School
Compass Community School is a group of independent specialist schools providing high‑quality, therapeutic and child‑centred education to boys and girls from 6 to 17 years of age. Our children have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and often other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.

The Role
We are principally teachers of children before teachers of subjects. Central to this role is knowing the child, building professional, nurturing and positive relationships, and motivating students. A Teacher is required with the ability/willingness to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level. We maintain high aspirations for our children regardless of their learning journey and do not underestimate the importance of qualifications to provide life chances and opportunities.

A teacher with a willingness to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level. Accredited qualifications are valued but the best accreditation for the child will be pursued.
