We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established national elderly care provider to appoint a Home Manager for one of their flagship luxury care homes in the West Midlands.
This is a genuine succession opportunity following the internal promotion of the existing Home Manager, demonstrating the provider's commitment to recognising and developing exceptional leaders from within.
Unlike many Home Manager opportunities currently available, this is not a turnaround position.
The successful candidate will inherit a stable, commercially successful and highly regarded service with an experienced leadership team already in place.

With an extensive national portfolio and a strong operational infrastructure, Home Managers are empowered with the resources and support required to deliver outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership to a luxury elderly care home of approximately 108 beds.
- Lead, motivate and develop an established multidisciplinary management team.
- Maintain excellent CQC compliance and governance standards.
- Drive occupancy, resident satisfaction and commercial performance.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
- Promote a positive, resident-focused culture throughout the home.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Directors and specialist support functions to continue driving excellence.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a successful Home Manager within elderly care.
- Experience managing medium to large care homes (65+ beds preferred).
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and governance.
- Demonstrable success improving or maintaining occupancy and financial performance.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
- Commercially astute with strong operational management experience.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding resident-centred care.
- RGN/RMN qualification is advantageous but not essential.
Applications from experienced Interim Home Managers looking to return to permanent employment will also be considered where they can demonstrate measurable operational success.
