Our thriving independent practice in West Surrey is looking for a Registered Vet Nurse to join our busy practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy independent practice which was established over 20 years ago by our Head Vet. We are looking for someone to initially join as maternity cover, with a high chance of continuing onto a permanent role upon the nurse’s return.

We are a Silver Cat friendly clinic and provide a variety of services for our clients. As well as routine health checks and travel documentation, we undertake diagnostics and treatments including imaging, endoscopy, dentistry, surgery, myotherapy and end of life support. We encourage our nurses to get stuck in and involved in all aspects of nursing, allowing you to progress your skill set and gain experience within all of the cases that we care for. If you are a vet nurse with great communication skills and you enjoy a busy environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

The team: Currently there are 3.5 vets, 3 nurses, a VCA, and a receptionists team who all work collaboratively and provide exceptional patient and client care. We have visiting surgeons who specialise in Orthopaedics and Cardiology, as well as a Dentist and Myotherapist on-site. We are a close-knit team with our newest member of staff being here for over 3 years and we are excited to welcome a new RVN to the team!

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 5 Saturday mornings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Registered Vet Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the UK

Location: The surgery is located in West Surrey with excellent transport links to Guildford, East Horley, Aldershot, Farnborough, Godalming, Woking, Epsom, Horsham, Petersfield, Staines-upon-Thames and surrounding areas.
