Compass Associates are excited to be working alongside one of the largest private healthcare providers in the search for an experienced clinical pharmacist to join their close-knit pharmacy team within their specialist treatment centre based in Manchester.

The provider are looking for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to integrate themselves within their diverse team delivering an outstanding level of service to both acute care and Oncology departments. The successful candidate will be working flexibly to meet the demands of the service whilst providing consistent training to their colleagues in an effort to create a multi-skilled pharmacy team. They will be coordinating the effective delivery and treatment of medication to patients under their care all whilst ensuring they are adhering to governmental and institutional policy.

The successful candidate for this role will have considerable experience within an Acute Care setting, with Oncology experience being a desirable requirement for the role.

What You'll Bring

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Considerable experience in hospital pharmacy - Oncology experience is desirable but not required.
  • Post-graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a specialist area in clinical pharmacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplined team.
  • Experience working within guidelines and frameworks within clinical settings.

Location

This Private Care Centre is based in Manchester - commutable via Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Blackburn & Stoke-on-Trent.
