We are working with an award-winning independent veterinary group in Walsall seeking a Clinical Director to join their senior team. The Role
This is a full-time Clinical Director position with responsibility for supporting clinical standards, team development, operational progression, and the continued growth of the practice and wider group services. The practice manages a varied caseload spanning both routine and referral-level work, including the continued expansion of minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy services. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping shape the direction of these growing services while supporting the wider team and maintaining high standards across the practice.
The role would suit a proactive Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys mentoring colleagues, driving standards, encouraging progression within the team, and contributing towards the development of new services and clinics. With the group continuing to expand its referral offering, there is genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the business and play a key role in its long-term growth strategy.
The Practice
This is an award-winning independent veterinary group focused on delivering compassionate veterinary care alongside high clinical standards and modern medicine. Since coming under independent ownership, the practice has continued to invest in diagnostics, surgical equipment, facilities, and staff development. Facilities include advanced operating theatres, minimally invasive surgical equipment, laparoscopic capabilities, orthopaedic facilities, and modern diagnostic technology. The group are also continuing to expand referral-level endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery services, creating an exciting environment for clinicians with an interest in progression and innovation.
The Team & Culture
The wider team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA, 5 Receptionists, a Practice Manager, and additional support staff who all work collaboratively to deliver excellent patient and client care. The environment is supportive, progressive, and encourages clinical development, leadership, and new ideas, alongside a strong focus on patient care and sustainability.
