Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE (FTE)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

Together, we are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a well-established independent specialist school near Uxbridge, supporting autistic pupils of secondary school age. They provide a highly personalised, autism-specific education that recognises and builds on each learner’s individual strengths.

As the Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with the education team to deliver tailored Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, are neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs. You will manage your own caseload, with the full support of your supervisor and site lead, while also contributing to staff training, consultation, and wider whole-school approaches as required.

  • Recognised occupational therapy degree
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working in a range of settings, with some responsibility for service & team performance
  • Experience of working with children and young people with autism and disabilities
  • Up to date knowledge of a range of approaches relating to neurodivergence, learning disability and trauma informed practice
