The Role

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a respected elderly care provider to find an experienced Registered Home Manager for a care home located in the Thirsk area. The service provides nursing, residential and dementia care to older adults and is already embedded into the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Home Manager looking for a home they can nurture and make their own.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operational and clinical performance of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment.

Candidate

The successful candidate will hold a clinical background or have managed an elderly nursing home in the past, comfortable working within a fast-paced clinical environment. You will be a visible and approachable leader, capable of inspiring confidence amongst staff, residents and families alike. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, particularly when working with Local Authorities, commissioners and other key stakeholders. The ability to influence, develop partnerships and enhance the home's reputation within the local community will be highly valued. You'll also have a fine eye for quality, committed to ensuring compliance adheres to all regulation and resident safety is at the forefront of practice. As a personality, you'll bring energy and genuine motivation to the role, keen to mentor staff and also a commercial understanding to ensure the home remains profitable.
