Want to continue to develop your skills, and step into a leadership role? We are supporting a growing veterinary practice based just outside of Birmingham as they seek a new MRCVS Vet Surgeon to tackle a growing surgical caseload, and support future new graduates with their own development. The Offer: We prioritise our staff welfare, and it’s important to know what packages you can expect. We are looking to offer up to £70,000 for a full time role, alongside this you would get: – Great holiday allowance – Contributory pension scheme – Generous CPD allowances – Paid memberships (RCVS, VDS) – Discounts on your own veterinary care The Practice: Investment into the practice has spared no expense and allowed us to have all the modern equipment you could expect or need. The imaging department is fully equipped with ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray; operating theatres are bright and spacious; the lab on site is great to use and we do have plenty of ward spaces for patients. The team consists of 6 vets (including our Clinical Lead), 6 RVNs, and a wealth of support staff to make your role and caseloads run through as smoothly as possible. Being based just outside of Birmginham, means we have great travel links from Coventry, Leicester, Tamworth, Burton-on-Trent, Stafford, Tamworth, Lichfield and all surrounding areas. The Job: We are seeking a new Veterinary Surgeon with a preference for surgical work. You would get involved in a real mix of your usual spays and soft tissues, but also get the diverse and more niche cases because of how we positioned ourself in the market. Confidence with ECC, offering training to other vets, knowledge of complex cases like GDV & Pyometra will also come in handy.
