We are recruiting for a new Surgeon to take on a leadership role at a fantastic independent practice in West Sussex!
The Practice:
We’re based in the beautiful hills of West Sussex; commutable from Worthing, Horsham, Brighton, Petersfield, Chichester and all surrounding areas. Due to a growing client list, we are seeking 2 new vets to join clinically, and as a lead.
The practice has all the bells and whistles a vet could want or need. Fully equipped diagnostic suite, surgical theatres, consulting rooms and state of the art laboratory are key to offering our mix of first opinion and referral services. We love to show off our clinic for candidates and have them take a tour of our modern , yet homely clinic.
We have a large and ever-growing team of surgeons and nurses with a mix of Certificates, PGCerts and Advanced Practitioners in the mix. Interests and qualifications range from small animal surgery, physiotherapy, laparoscopy, diagnostic imaging, ECC and orthopaedics.
The Role:
This would be a full time role covering 1 in 6 weekends (2 days TOIL applied any weekend worked) with no night work. Part time applicants can be considered as we open minded to those in different circumstances.
You will be a confident and charismatic General Practitioner who loves to support both clients, patients an staff. The role will be multidisciplinary, working across the practice on surgery, consulting, diagnostics and lab work. Those with a particular interest are welcome to discuss a biased in your personal case load. A candidate who is more interested in taking a step up onto a leadership role where you will be involved in non-clinical operations, student support and management are able to apply for a Lead Vet role within the practice.
