Compass Associates are exclusively partnering with a specialist neurorehabilitation provider to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist for their purpose-built service in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialist service supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, stroke and other complex neurological conditions.

As the sole Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for managing your own caseload, completing comprehensive assessments and developing tailored rehabilitation programmes. You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team alongside Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Nursing staff and a Neurorehabilitation Consultant.

  • Complete occupational therapy assessments for new admissions.
  • Develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes.
  • Promote independence through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Contribute to person-centred care planning and discharge planning where appropriate.
  • Work autonomously while accessing clinical supervision as required.

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about neurological rehabilitation and confident working independently. A minimum of 1-2 years' post-qualification Occupational Therapy experience in neurorehabilitation is required, along with confidence managing a caseload with minimal supervision.

Monday-Friday working pattern. Clinical supervision and ongoing professional development are provided. The position offers 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
