This well-established home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and has a strong reputation for high-quality, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to step into a supportive, supernumerary leadership role.
The Role
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational running of the home.
- Lead, mentor and develop the nursing and care teams.
- Ensure the home consistently delivers safe, effective and high-quality care.
- Oversee clinical governance, audits, care planning and compliance.
- Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Act as a positive role model with a hands-on, supportive leadership style.
Candidate Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or equivalent Clinical Lead role.
- Strong clinical background in elderly care and dementia nursing, with proven ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for elderly care and commitment to clinical excellence.
- Confident leadership skills, with excellent communication, organisational, and team management capabilities.
- An empathetic and kind leader with strong emotional intelligence, able to support staff, foster a positive culture, and build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
