Compass Associates is excited to be working with a CQC registered private healthcare provider, to recruit for an experienced Autism Assessor to join their new Sheffield clinic on an employed basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new clinic dedicated to therapeutic excellence and gold standard clinical quality, as they launch their new Autism pathway for both children and adults.

The clinic offers a holistic blend of medical and non-medical approaches delivered by their specialist in-house team which includes a Clinical Director, Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Specialist ADHD/ASD Nurses, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Sleep Therapists, Yoga and Mindfulness Coaches.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive, evidence-based autism assessments in line with NICE guidelines. You will produce detailed clinical reports and provide tailored advice, treatment, and support to patients and their families. Using your ADOS and ADI-R training, you will be required to carry out assessments both online and at the new Sheffield outpatient clinic.

Essential criteria

  • ADOS and ADI-R qualification
  • At least 12 months' experience carrying out autism assessments for children (aged 5+) and adults
  • Registered healthcare professional
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Must be able to work both remotely and in the Sheffield clinic, depending on clinical need

Location

This is hybrid role where you will divide your time between working from home and in the clinic. Ideally candidates will be local to the Sheffield clinic which is commutable from Rotherham, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Worksop, Bakewell, Mansfield, Leeds, Buxton, Doncaster, Barnsley and surrounding towns.
