Compass Associates are proud to be headhunting on behalf of a respected private rehabilitation provider in Surrey, in search of a skilled Addictions Therapist.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced counsellor or psychotherapist who thrives in a group-based and holistic setting, with a focus on the treatment of addictions through a structured 28-day residential programme.
You will join a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team offering a blend of 1:1 therapy, psychoeducational groups, and relapse prevention sessions - all delivered within a safe and community-driven therapeutic environment.
- Facilitate group therapy aligned with the 12-Step Minnesota model
- Deliver 1:1 therapy to clients in addiction recovery
- Participate in ward rounds and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Support client integration and progress within the community
- Commit to regular supervision and CPD
Typically 3 clients per group, rising to 8-9 when co-facilitating with another addictions therapist.
Level 4 Diploma in Counselling (or equivalent)
Significant experience as a counsellor or psychotherapist working in addictions
Comfortable delivering structured group work and psychoeducational content
Non-Accredited Therapist: £28,000 – £32,000 ~ Accredited Therapist: £35,000 – £42,000
