Salary: £70,000 per annum + performance bonus

The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a valued client who operate a portfolio of elderly care homes across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to take responsibility for a well-established elderly care service in South Yorkshire.
This is not a turnaround opportunity. The home is performing well internally and has strong internal foundations but is by no means the finished article.
The role will be suited to a manager who will accept autonomy then focus on sustaining and improving performance. This is a project that will allow an existing Registered Home Manager to create a home to be proud of.
Candidate
I’m looking to speak with talented individuals with a proven background as a Registered Home Manager; either nurse qualified or with experience of managing an elderly nursing home. You’ll have a strong understanding of CQC requirements, governance, safeguarding and quality assurance, with a track record of maintaining high standards and leading teams effectively.
Commercial awareness will also be important. The home is already performing well but there is further opportunity to grow the business as your own. As a leader, you’ll be visible, approachable and hands-on when required. You’ll inherit a capable team, so this is an opportunity to build on what is already working rather than coming into an environment requiring significant change.
You’ll also be confident working alongside residents, families, commissioners and other local stakeholders, continuing to build on the excellent reputation the service has developed within the local community.

The role is commutable from: Rotherham, Wath Upon Dearne, Mexborough, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Retford, Dinnington, Worksop, Chesterfield, Dronfield and Sheffield.
