Resident Doctor General Medicine and Surgery

About the Role
In behalf of our Prestigious Private Client, we are seeking a General Surgical or Acute Medicine Resident Doctor to join their medical team in Birmingham, in a state of the art facility. This role involves covering general wards and day-case areas , working alongside highly specialist nurses and acting on Consultant-Led decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-op and post-op treatments, clinical assessments, and ward rounds.
- Clerk admissions, review discharges, and assess referrals.
- Provide immediate medical care, including emergency cardiac arrest response.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and MDT meetings.
- Engage in clinical governance and patient satisfaction focus groups.
What You’ll Bring
- GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK
- MBBS medical qualification
- Current ALS certification
- Minimum 3 years NHS specialty/IMT/CT training
- Postgraduate exams (MRCP or MRCS) desirable
